From experiment to execution: what changes at each stage

An AI proof of concept has a narrow job: prove that a specific capability can materially move a specific outcome. It should be built quickly, evaluated honestly, and either advanced or retired.
Advancing means picking up new obligations: governance, observability, adoption design, and a real support model. Skipping those obligations is the most common reason promising experiments never reach execution.
The Navixtent methodology names four stages — Map, Experiment, Validate, Execute — so teams know exactly which obligations they are taking on next.
